Mission Statement

We, the parishioners of St. Joseph Catholic Community, in union with the Archdiocese of Baltimore, declare our belief in our Loving God and Creator, in our Risen Lord, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Spirit, who is present with us.

Our mission is to become a sign of God's loving presence within this community of communities and to the world around us. We believe that we give and receive the support needed to respond in our way to the call of the Gospel, the traditions of the Church, and the needs and expectations of the people of God.

As a parish community, we dedicate ourselves to proclaiming God's Love through our words and deeds:

in our gathering for worship
in our teaching about the reign of God
in our reaching out to those in need
in our seeking of justice and peace
in our welcoming of others to join with us
in our nurturing of each other; and
in the wise stewardship of our physical
and economic resources.

With Mary as a model of grace and faith, and through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, we the Living Body of Christ, offer our unique gifts of time, of talent, and of treasure to the glory and honor of God.
