The Holy Hour
Dear Friends,
May the peace of our Lord, Jesus Christ, be with you!
We are delighted to introduce you to this wonderful little tool that may serve to enhance your prayerful experience of adoration before the Most Blessed Sacrament.
Our parish, St. Joseph Catholic Community, in Eldersburg, MD [Archdiocese of Baltimore] is guided by the spiritual Charism of Blessed William Joseph Chaminade, Founder of the worldwide Marianist Family.
We are greatly blest here by our company of adorers who come regularly throughout the day and night to our perpetual adoration chapel to worship Jesus, truly and really present in the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist.
They pray for the need of our faith community, those of the wider church, for an increase in vocations to the priesthood and religious life, for a greater respect for the innate dignity of all human life, as well as for many of their own intensely personal spiritual needs.
Quiet meditation and contemplation before our Eucharistic Lord is a source of abundant blessings for the Church and serves both as the foundation for, as well as the fuel of, her apostolic activities in many varied ministries.
It is our hope and prayer that you come to better appreciate and more fully know the love of Jesus for you by means of your time spent before the Lord using these recorded reflections.
Please remember to pray for us, and know that we will also pray for you!
Fr. Terry Weik, S.M., Pastor.
