Eucharistic Ministry Schedules
The Eucharist can be shared with those who are unable to join the community in our larger gathering at the weekend Mass. This can be due to a temporary need or on a lengthier basis for those with mobility difficulties.
Eucharistic Ministers act as representatives of Christ and the St. Joseph Catholic Community in bringing the body of Christ to those who are ill or homebound. Communion may be brought to individual homes, assisted living facilities or nursing homes in the area served by the parish. It can be offered on a weekly basis, but other arrangements can be made. Eucharistic Ministers also help with Masses and Eucharistic Services at local facilities. By the minister's compassion and concern, he or she fulfills the words of Christ, "I was sick and you visited me."
We invite you to listen to the call of the Spirit and join us in this ministry. If you or a loved one needs the services of a Eucharistic Minister to the Sick, or to learn more about becoming an EM to the Sick, call Jackie Antkowwiak at 443-920-9107.
